Systems we have designed and built

Production software across energy, regulated, and operational domains, each built architecture-first with tested requirements. Screens show demo data.

Eland portfolio screen listing engineering projects with budget burn, percent complete, margin, unbilled amounts, and health status.
Portfolio: budget burn against progress for every active project.

Engineering · SaaS

Eland

Multi-tenant practice management for engineering and construction firms. Projects and phases, time and expenses, billing for every common contract type, and double-entry accounting in one system, so approved time flows to invoices and the ledger with no re-keying.

The problem. Engineering firms run projects, timesheets, billing, and accounting in separate tools and spreadsheets. Invoices go out late, phase budgets overrun before anyone notices, and leadership cannot see true profitability.

  • Projects, phases, schedules, and a project hub with budget burn against progress
  • Time and expense entry with approvals, timers, and time off
  • Billing for hourly, fixed fee, percent complete, cost-plus, unit, and percentage-of-construction contracts, with retainers and retainage

FlotaIQ asset register listing drill rigs, excavators, generators, and vehicles with ownership, status, assignment, and meter readings.
Asset register: owned, leased, and rented equipment in one list.

Fleet & equipment

FlotaIQ

Fleet and equipment management for engineering and construction firms. One register for owned, leased, and rented assets, assignments to projects or people, telematics sync, inspections, preventive maintenance, and project equipment cost reports.

The problem. Firms with mixed fleets of pickups, drill rigs, excavators, and trailers track them in spreadsheets. Money leaks through rentals kept past need, missed maintenance, and equipment use that is never charged to a project.

  • One register of owned, leased, and rented assets with full history
  • Assignments to a project or a person, with transfers and returns
  • Meters, fuel, and telematics sync from Samsara and Geotab

HoopLink booking screen to choose an athlete, session type, length, and time, with a price summary.
Booking with live availability and a clear price summary.

Marketplace

HoopLink

A basketball coaching marketplace for Alberta families. Search vetted coaches, book sessions with conflict prevention, pay in CAD into escrow, and review only after a completed session, with an operator console and an immutable audit log.

The problem. Families find private basketball coaches through word of mouth, with no way to compare credentials, prices, or reviews. Coaches lose time to scheduling and chasing payments.

  • Coach search by city, skill, age group, and price
  • Booking with conflict prevention for one-on-one and small-group sessions
  • Payments in CAD held in escrow and released after the session

RegTech · Compliance

Vanguard AML

An API-first anti-money-laundering layer for Alberta's iGaming operators. Identity verification, sanctions and PEP screening, real-time monitoring with explainable alerts, a case workbench, and automatic staging of FINTRAC reports against their deadlines.

The problem. Alberta's iGaming market opened in 2026 and every operator needs a compliant AML program. Bank-grade suites do not model casino reports or iGaming patterns, and casino-focused tools are priced for large enterprises.

  • Identity verification, self-exclusion checks, and scheduled screening
  • Real-time transaction monitoring with tunable, backtested rules
  • A case and enhanced due diligence workbench for investigators

PPI

Predictive Pipeline Integrity: an IoT and AI platform for proactive pipeline maintenance. Real-time sensor streams, anomaly detection with explainable-AI overlays, defect engineering calculations (B31G, RSTRENG, DNV), risk assessment, and cathodic protection monitoring behind an operator dashboard.

The problem. Pipeline operators need to find integrity problems before they become incidents. Sensor data, inspection results, and engineering calculations usually live in separate systems, so risk is assessed late and by hand.

  • Real-time ingestion of pressure, flow, temperature, acoustic, and corrosion sensors
  • Anomaly detection with explainable-AI overlays
  • Defect assessment using B31G, RSTRENG, CSA Z662, and DNV methods

OpComply

A multi-firm compliance platform for oil and gas companies. Tracks training certifications and equipment inspections, and runs programs such as COR, OSHA PSM, API RP 1173, and ISO 45001 with evidence, audits, findings, and a downloadable auditor pack.

The problem. Oil and gas firms must prove compliance to clients, regulators, and certifying bodies. The proof is spread across certificates, inspection records, and binders, and readiness is guessed rather than shown.

  • Training certification and equipment inspection tracking
  • Programs for COR, contractor prequalification, OSHA PSM, API RP 1173, and ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001
  • Owners, evidence, scheduled audits, findings, and verified fixes
